Global settings

The configuration main screen lets you change the some common Projectfork settings.

Display settings

Date format
Here you can set the date format used in Projectfork. Also see: http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php#function.date.parameters

Display avatar
Turn the user profile image on or off. You can save on performance and loading time if you decide to disable this feature.

Tooltips - Access
These tooltips will appear whenever you move your mouse over a button that you cannot click on. The tooltip will tell you why. Leave this feature enabled if you are new to Projectfork.

Tooltips - Help
These tooltips will display various help information when moving your mouse over a button. Leave this feature enabled if you are new to Projectfork.

Send HTML emails
This setting is mainly for notification emails and project invitations. Emails in HTML format look better but might land in the receipients spam folder.

Panel edit button
When enabled, this feature will show an "Edit" button next to each Projectfork panel. This is useful when you want to move or change a lot of panels. For more information, click here.

 

Frontend settings

Hide Joomla template
This option allows you to hide Joomla and display Projectfork only. Useful when your Joomla template is too small to display Projectfork.

Debug settings

Enable debugging
Records internal system activity. To display the activity, you must also enable the System console (Config -> Panels). Please note that this feature should be disabled if possible because it slows down your site!

Show panel positions
This option will reveal possible panel positions to which you can assign either Projectfork panels or Joomla modules. For more information, click here.
