After a tremendous amount of work, we're pleased to announce the alpha release of Steel! Projectfork Bundle owners get first swing at this one. Once we reach a beta, we'll release Steel individually.

Our Most Sophisticated Projectfork Theme Yet

Steel is a full blown user interface, not just a website theme. In fact, it's really four interfaces. Steel dynamically switches things around if you're using Projectfork in one of the following ways:

1. Frontend hiding Joomla template
2. Frontend inside Joomla template
3. Backend in default Admin template
4. Backend in Stainless, Steel's twin admin template

(watch the video to view these changes)

How Can I Get It?

Grab the Projectfork Bundle, which includes access to all premium items on this site, and Stainless will be in your Admin Template archive in your Downloads. Here's how you access your downloads.

It's An Alpha

This means that there will be some bugs, mainly display bugs. Steel has been developed for modern browsers and uses CSS3 for features such as rounded corners and text shadows. Steel will degrade gracefully in IE, but you should really upgrade to a browser worthy of Projectfork Administrators such as Firefox, Chrome or Safari.

Don't use Steel on a production site just yet. It's pretty stable but hasn't gone through its paces yet. We highly recommend first testing it on a development or local site. We're not offering full support since this is an Alpha release, but we'd be happy to hear your feedback.
