An important update for Projectfork is now available. Please update as soon as possible as this release includes Joomla 1.7 compatibility. Any prior version is not compatible with Joomla 1.7! Should have already updated your site to 1.7, you'll not be able to access Projectfork properly. I have added simple and straight-forward instructions on how to restore Projectfork at the end of this blog post.

Also note that this update will override the default Projectfork theme, in case you've manually changed it, I advise you take a backup of your modifications.

Changelog

  • Fixed: Design issues with Joomla 1.6
  • Fixed: Time Tracking panel returning to Joomla "Home" page after saving
  • Fixed: "New File" button in Dashboard not showing when using Filemanager Pro
  • Fixed: Joomla 1.7 issues
  • Added: Fallback function for file downloads in case "readfile" function is disabled

Restoring Projectfork

You only have to do this if you have updated your Joomla site to 1.7 and have lost access to Projectfork. In order to regain access, download the Projectfork full package from the download page. Then connect to your site via FTP and navigate to your Joomla root directory. Next, open the Projectfork package. Inside you'll find a folder called "administrator" which you should  upload to your Joomla root directory (which also contains an "administrator") folder. If your FTP program asks you whether to overwrite existing files, confirm with "Yes". That's it. If you need further help with this, please let us know by posting in the forum. Thank you!
