The beta phase has finally ended and we are now releasing the first Release Candidate. This release includes the possibility to upgrade from the previous 2.0 releases to the current 2.1 version! Furthermore, regular patches will be provided from this version on. So you can now safely install/upgrade Projectfork 2.1.
I am currently using Projectfork 2.0, how do I upgrade?
It is very very important that you follow the upgrade instructions found on this page. Seriously, read it and follow everything step by step.
Can I just install the RC and update to future versions later?
Yes. From this release on, you will be able to update to future versions.
Is this a stable release? No bugs, no glitches?
Most likely not. But it is safe to say that it won't contain any bugs that would cause you to lose your precious data.
Do I *have* to upgrade to this version?
No. You can upgrade whenever you feel like it. Any of the future 2.1 releases will have an automated upgrade routine included.
