With progress on Projectfork 2.2 stable quickly...progressing, it's time to update our Premium Projectfork Themes. If you're wondering, the 2.1 version of those themes won't be compatible for 2.2. Don't worry though, much experience has been gained since those themes have received an overhaul.

First up is the Goggles theme. The Goggles theme has always paid homage to Google apps such as Gmail and Google Docs (that's where the name Goggles came from). Besides colors though, the theme didn't truly feel like a Google app. Goggles also doesn't look at ton different from the Project theme, so I felt that it was really time to make these themes truly unique.

More Google in Goggles

With the new version, we're really going for the Gmail experience. With the new theme capabilities in Projectfork 2.2 we can accomplish this layout:

After the Goggles update we'll be updating the Project theme (and probably renaming it). The Project theme was initially inspired by the old version of Apple's MobileMe site, so expect the new version to move in the updated MobileMe direction.
