Projectfork Extensions

If you're interested in Projectfork ("Pf") extensions, you may consider the Pf bundle.  The bundle comes with important extensions such as Activity Stream to track user activity and File Manager Pro which is a great improvement from the default file manager restricting access to folders, allowing ajax uploading and file versioning.  Besides these extensions, reports, billing and invoicing are seperate addons created by other Joomla developers.   These addons are requested by users and although we don't custom develop Pf extensions for customers, other Joomla developers are very happy to do so.

Angek Design

Angek Design is a helpful third-party developer that offers Reports Dashboard, Task Cron Mailer Pro, and iCal Calendar Subscription Pro.

Reports Dashboard

Reports Dashboard provides the current status with custom reports of your projects.  Reports Dashboard includes 6 metric reports as follows:

  • Tasks due this week
  • Tasks due this month
  • Assigned tasks by user
  • Task status by project
  • Tasks overdue by user
  • Users time by project

Task Cron Mailer Pro

Task Mailer Cron Pro is a process that delivers email task alerts to project users from the server side by executing commands at specific dates and times ("cronjob").  When using Task Cron Mailer Pro, you must be sure that your server is cofigured with your hosting provider correctly.  Your hosting provider allow to execute the cron_mail.php file and read Joomla's configuration.php file.  It is a simple command to keep your users up to speed with tasks and task reminders.

iCal Calendar Subscription Pro

The iCal Calendar Subscription Pro allows you to stay up to date with your project's milestones, tasks, and events by importing an .ics file.  If you are an Apple iCal user, this may benefit you.

Onionaccounts

Onionaccounts is another example of third-party developers that have integrated project time tracking, budgeting and invoicing with their e-commerce accounting software.
